UK GDPR

UK General Data Protection Regulation

The nature of a school will require the processing and handling of personal data – relating to its staff, children and parents – and here at St. Mary’s it is our duty to ensure that this personal data is kept safe and secure.

The new UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) is now in effect in the UK. It replaces the previous law on data protection (the Data Protection Act 1998) and gives individuals more rights and protection in how their personal data is used by organisations.

On this page of our website you will find useful information about how we use personal data.
