At St. Mary’s we aim to stimulate and excite pupils’ curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around them. Science is taught through a topic-based approach. Children will be given the opportunity to explore a range of science topics developing skills, knowledge and understanding of the world around us and how it works. Children will gather information about the physical world through a variety of techniques including observation and experimentation.
