All Church of England dioceses and the Methodist Church use the National Society’s framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). The principal objective of a SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.

- Leaders give a high priority to religious education (RE). This enables pupils to develop a secure understanding of a range of worldviews and faiths, including Christianity. This fosters curiosity, respect and informed dialogue.
- Spirituality is deeply embedded in the life of the school, permeating the curriculum, collective worship, relationships and daily experiences. Consequently, pupils and adults confidently recognise and engage with experiences that lead to opportunities for their spiritual flourishing.
