St. Mary’s has recently supported the NSPCC Speak out. Stay safe. programme which included a special assembly with key safeguarding messages for the children and follow up workshops for Years 5 and 6.
The NSPCC believe it’s vital that every child in every primary school across the UK understands abuse in all its forms and recognises the signs of abuse and gets help if they need it.
To help fund raise for the NSPCC the school is conducting ‘Buddy’s Big Workout’. This involves a class physical challenge and we would like the children to complete sponsor forms to help raise money.
The children will have until Wednesday 11th October to collect their sponsor money and return it to school.
Many thanks in advance for your support. For further information about the work of the NSPCC please visit their website:
This year our Harvest Festival service will take place at St. Mary’s Church on Friday 6th October, 9.45am.
